Adventures Of Jazz// Summer Festival 2013 #flashbackfriday

Small disclaimer. This video is less than 3 min long so it will be tough writing a whole essay about it. Keep this in mind. I will try my best. It's easier to explain what's in the video than what happened off-screen.

Summer 2013. The best summer I ever had. It's one of the only times I got to explore other places.

This video is from 2013. I went to a festival in Southern Illinois. I went 2 different times so one clip will be daytime and another it will be at night. I think the first time I left after dark and the second time I stayed later. They were open later on weekends than weekdays.

Yeah I know I filmed vertically, at the time I didn't know about phone videos. Filming on phones. Now vertical videos are in again thanks to Tik Tok. Hey, I did it before it would become cool eventually. When I shared these vertical videos on Facebook YouTube groups people acted like they found rare gold.

There is a clip where I am helping the lady who braided my hair with her both. She had side hustles where she ran booths at fests.

I was vibing and running the sunglasses stand. While she ran the dress stand.

She allowed me to have some fun at the fest. So I did that. It was amazing.

Then I got on the Ferris wheel. I enjoyed the view for sure. It looks nice, doesn't it? 

If I had gotten on the ride during sunset, I bet the view would have been even better.  Now I wish I got on the ride during the golden hour for a better experience. It was cloudy on the first day I went but not the second.

The next clip was during the night.  The rest of the scenes will be at night. I was in line to get on the ride. I can do some rides that spin not all of them. Fests are better at night. At least for me, that is. The lights look prettier at night.

Imagine what Six Flags will look like at night.

It was so amazing at night. Although it was tough getting pictures due to how dark it was. My phone can get night photos if it's lit up enough.

I walked around to get more shots. It was hard due to how dark it is. It was cool getting the other folks enjoying themselves. Vibing, chilling.

Summer 2013 was the best. I miss it so much! What year do you miss? The new normal makes me miss 2013 even more.

I got a clip of the swing ride. I always get the tingle in my spin when I got on these rides. I feel like the only one that gets this feeling. Do ya'll get that feeling on those rides?

The steam from the ride behind me made the picture so cool. I surely cannot do that ride. Vertigo sucks lol.  Rides that go slowly like the merry-go-round works but rides that spin quickly. Nope. I wish I could. That is all I got. Now that I know I like vlogging my vacations, I will make sure I get enough clips so I can make a good blog post.

It was offscreen but I got on other rides, ate at the food courts. I took some pictures of what I could. 

The lights on the spinning ride look neat. Doesn't it? Do you enjoy fests? What time of day do you prefer?
