September 2022 · 4 min read · United States

I may have uploaded all of the travel vlogs that I filmed. I have some photos that I want to share with you.

I took some photos on the way there.  Knowing me, I will take as many photos as I can.

The sun was out which was great. The sun being out helps my photos come out better than when it's overcast. The flip side is the sun being on my site for most of the trip. We passed through towns that were cloudy.

I got up at 4am to get ready and my uncle came at 6 to get us. I wasn't sure what time he was coming so I allowed myself time to get ready. Also since I decided to start the vlog when I got up.

I got some nice early morning landscape photos. I enjoy landscapes. I got a truck in the picture. I also like having trucks in the picture as well.

I needed a summer trip to complete my collection of the different trips I took.

One of the reasons why I was looking forward to this trip is because I wanted to get a photo of the corn fields. Since there were no corn fields when I took the April trip and the October trip in 2019.

Once you're about an hour out you will start to see the fields.

It was nice to be on the road again since the 2019 trips.

The farms look pretty.  I always look forward to what I can photograph.

I sat on the left of the car. So getting photos was a bit difficult.

Most of these photos were taken in southern IL. Since I just passed through and didn't really stop. I'll just say Southern IL. So Southern IL looks pretty in the summer. Farmland, and fields are all you get to look at once you cross into the south.  Its not fun only having that to look at sometimes

At some point, we stopped at a rest stop.  There are also campsites so if you have an RV I think you can park it for camp. We stopped at a rest stop about 30 miles before getting out of IL.

It started to get hot the farther south we got.

It's been a while since I traveled in the summer. The last summer trip I took was in 2015. I would have had one in 2018 but life decided I didn't deserve to have fun.

We stopped at a truck stop. Still in IL. It takes 4 hours just to get to IL.  IL is a large state.

Truck stops have a shower for those long ass road trips and for truck drivers. They also are connected to an eatery (like McDonald's or Arby's) which is nice. For stopping, I highly suggest those. You can get gas/eat/bathroom in one place. Rest stops are great for stretching your legs.  Doing a short walk.  Those are the places I suggest for stops. Of course, if you'd like, you can stay the night at a hotel. If I went down south by myself, I would probably stop at a hotel for a nap

After 4 hours, we finally crossed into MO.

The river has gone down. When I took the 2019 trip, it looked like it was gonna run over. I've posted photos of that before.

Onto the MO crops. Let's see how many photos I took.

I didn't take that many photos.  I also made a vlog and made posts to my Ig story.

After 8 hours, we finally got to AR. Man was it hot.

I got some photos of the scapes across the railroad tracks.

After I settled in for a few hours, there was a fish fry that I went to. It's basically a dinner. I got some photos on the way there.

It was around sunset you guys know I love sunset photos

Sunsets are so pretty.  I love country sunsets especially.

And here is me editing the vlogs that I filmed to post to Threespeak/Travel Feed. Also, this laptop is how I was able to keep up with the blog while I was away.

Travel blogging is so much fun. I enjoy doing it. Its fun to get one camera your adventures to have them to cherish.
