Táchira Nature! 🌄 🌲 🌁

Táchira Nature! 🌄 🌲 🌁

June 2018 · 5 min read · Parroquia Jáuregui

I really enjoy nature, either a very hot weather beach or a cold weather mountain camp, both are awesome. I like all kind of places, I love cold weather but I cannot live without the sea, both at the same time would be perfect (I don't mind if I can't swim because it's cold heheh). This is why I enjoy travelling, it's one of my favorite things to do. The fact of moving from one place to another, experiencing the world while the landscape is changing by the window is a very fulfilling activity, a way of claiming the world is yours, that you are alive.

So, in this post I gathered some of my favorite pictures from my travel to Táchira in 2014. Táchira state is one of the three states that form the Andean region in Venezuela which is located straddling the Andes Mountain Range in the west part of the country. My purpose is to tell you the story behind these shots (:

I went to this place because a friend of mine invited me and some friends, I was there for a week. Look what we did!

One of the first things we did was camping, this was the place the bus left us:

Let's go

This was not exactly the place we wanted to camp in, but of course I took pictures, and I like this view, the mountains look pretty cool in here. Then we started walking.

What we had in front of us at the "bus stop":

I see trees of green!

The light was hitting right on my face, and it was amazing. The weather was very fresh, cool. You can see the road over that mountain, it was really such a cute view!

So, we were walking carrying all the stuffs for camping, you know the tents and all that, and this is my friend, the one who invited me to go there:

Luna rocks!

A very gentle and noble human as the people from this part of the country, and a great friend (: She was carrying a mattress that I didn't want to appear in the picture, I asked her to put in on the ground for a moment and she was holding it with her other hand xD while the other friend who came wih us was letting another mattress roll down the road... (sadly, I don't have a pic of that moment because I was taking this one xD)

Thanks God a cool sir rescued us from dealing with the stuffs and gave us a ride:

movie cows

We were in the back of a livestock transport truck, yeah like pigs, but thanks God it was all clean, so we didn't mind getting on :D I took this pic while we were on it.

Then, we finally arrived to the place:

Sin título

This is a place called "Las Porqueras" (that means: the place in which they have the pigs in a farm xD), but this is a park people is allowed to camp in. This is the area in which we installed our tents.

Watching and walking:

Mountains

A cool pic I really like, it reminds me of that delicious weather. Can't you feel the fresh air just by looking at it? :3

'river'

A little creek that got my attention for a while (I have an issue with water, you'll often see that, sorry).

Then we crossed the "street":

Desde arriba

We got back to the road and crossed to the other side because there was a little park in there. We climbed a hill and I took this pic in which you can have a full view of this little park :)

Park

This is right after the entrance to the park, all very clean and cute.

'Dissapointed by society, young people are fleeing to the wilderness'.

The respective black and white "forest" photo! xD

big tree

The big pines and the other friend I previously told you was letting a maittress roll down the road (xD)

Little things:

Lavender

Lavender!

Dandelion

And a Dandelion!

On the road:

Las Porqueras.

We decided to take a walk along the road to see what we could find.

The view after walking for a while

Creek

The water issue again, I loved this creek xD

We didn't find anything cool so we got back and look what we found in here: FOG!

The fog is coming!

The sky was all cloudy and the fog coming :D

Foggy panorama

Foggy panorama!

Grass

I remember these days we had a red moon eclipse, but I don't have any decent pics of that because it was like 3 am and I was freezing and shaking! (you know, caribbean people dealing with cold) So all the red moon pics were all blurry xD

This was my first time camping in fact and I enjoyed it a lot! I had a good time; this is a good place for relaxing, breathing fresh air and enjoying nature. Oh! And we saw a pig on the road fleeing from its owner, it just appeared from nowhere and was totally unexpected and funny xD

Thank you very much for watching and reading till here! All theses pics were taken with artistic purposes, let me know what you think about them please!

Greetings! (:
