Today is the first time I'm using travelfeed's platform for publishing. Honestly, in the past I had little relation to this platform, since I drew the logo of this team for an account in steemit. In addition, I made several banners for posts, which I sometimes see in the comments under my articles.

It is nice to see that your work was not in vain.

Today I continue the winter stories of my travels. In the lens - winter Kazan.

Kazan is the capital of Tatarstan. It is a large and very beautiful city. Despite the snow and the real Russian winter, it was very pleasant to walk in the city. Beautiful streets, rich decoration of houses, New Year decorations - all this was beyond praise.

Visiting time is New Year holidays. This is the very beginning of January.

The distance from my hometown to Kazan is about 800 kilometers. The distance is large, so you should carefully consider thinking out the route and the mode of driving and rest.

We arrived in Kazan in the dark. It’s clear that in early January it was already dark at 16 o’clock. After parking, we first went to inspect the Kazan Kremlin. This is a very interesting place, since the Kremlin has experienced many important historical events. Interestingly, this place was the point of religious struggle between Christianity and Islam.

Today, near the Orthodox churches in the Kremlin are the most important mosque in Kazan. This is symbolic.

The Kremlin has many different exhibition venues of the historical museum of the Kazan Kremlin. There is an art gallery, a weapons museum and many other museums.

It should be noted that the territory of the Kremlin itself is quite large and allows tourists to provide the opportunity to easily explore everything, despite the large number of people around.

After strolling through the Kremlin, we went to inspect the city, although, frankly, we were more looking for a place to stay for dinner. There were many different cafes and restaurants around and we tried to choose one that would be the most suitable for us.

Our choice fell on one of the restaurants on Bauman Street. This street is pedestrian and it is all composed of cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. In addition, the street is very decorated with lanterns and garlands.
