Spring forest awakens

Walk in the spring forest

Under viral quarantine, you won’t especially travel. You need to sit at home and not lean out. But still, you have to go to the store or deliver groceries to relatives in the village.

The very fact of leaving the city is already an adventure. Such an event can be compared with a tourist trip. If you just go in a car from point to point and look around - it will not be so interesting. And if you turn off somewhere in the middle of the road from the path and go somewhere to the side, into the unknown.

So we did. On the suburban highway, before reaching the destination, we turned onto a small path leading to the forest.

It turned out that the spring forest can be inspiring.

This is the real Russian nature after a long hibernation. In some places the earth has not yet warmed up, in some places it is already hard and dry. Somewhere puddles with the nascent life in them. Frog roe and mosquito larvae are visible.

The forest is now transparent. There is no greenery yet and it is visible in depth, making it possible to evaluate all its complexity and volume.

The weather was lucky and the green tops of the pines stood out against the blue sky. Walking under such a sky is a pleasure.

The path through the forest was not suitable for driving by car, but walking along it was very pleasant. The road led towards the river. The river is our beautiful Volga.

When through the forest I saw how the water glistens, I was delighted. It's nice when you can observe different elements: air, water, forest.

A short walk brought a lot of positive emotions and gave me strength that further the fight against the virus in self-isolation mode.
