I'm making this post on my phone from very beautiful land. It's Karelia.

Place you'll never see without somebody who will show you

Hello, friends! As you know I'm just made 1000 km trip and now I'm in Kizhi.

This is a small island in the Onega Lake. It is a museum of wooden architecture. This is an amazing place. This is Karelia. This is the place where there are a lot of mosquitoes at this time of year.

I spent an actual day, that would travel from my city of Kostroma to the island of Kizhi. Since Kizhi is an island, you need to get to it on the water. So my road car finale will be considered a place called "Great Lip".
Of course, this is in translation. In Russian it sounds different. "Velikaya guba". This is the place from where I went by boat to the island of Kizhi.

I visited this amazing place and I am very happy about it. But coming back, I was in one more place. This is an old abandoned village, in which no one else lives. But here there is a unique chapel. This is a real work of art. It stands in a dense forest on the shore of the lake.

I ended up in this place because my carrier showed me this place.

This chapel is an object of national wealth. This is our heritage. This is what makes me a Russian person.
I'm sorry that nobody lives in this place. I'm sorry that the Russian north is not a very convenient place for living and working. But I'm very pleased that I've been here and that I can talk about this amazing land.

I've just returned from the island Kizhi, and I have only one photo I can post. But I have a lot of good photos to show you and I'll do it but I'll do it after I get my home. Tomorrow morning I'm going to make 1000 km trip back to Kostroma.

It's not easy but I think everything is going to be all right.

Anycase I'm glad I can show you a photo I made in a forest on a bank of Onega lake.
