Life is meant to jump in, Scuba diving trip in the Philippines

April 2023 · 3 min read · Palawan

A few days have passed and some of the trip has been planned for the days ahead. Today is scuba diving day, we set out early in the am to get to the spots we will dive.

We load the boat and head out to the open waters.

The scenery was quite something to see. I don't have underwater pictures this time but that will come in the time ahead.

Turquoise teal water awaits.

The somber rocking of the ocean is where there is peace of mind, despite the movement all the time.

Another dive boat right by ours.

This place we anchor is popular spot for diving. There are many boats here and a few crews down under the water. It is important to take note where each crew is, and heading.

Safety is achieved when everyone is aware of what is going on. After the dive I take another dive to freshen up the wet suit till we get to the next dive site.

Splash.

Time to move on to the next sport.

Oh how perfect it would be to have a sailboat here. Maybe next time.

Looking forward.

Fascinating how the out hulls work but not much will be learned this time around. The scuba diving is the focus today.

As we make it to the next dive site we stop to have some lunch.

Tasty and light meal to keep the buoyancy the same.

Not everyone found the meal light....the crew sleeps while the rest run amuck on the boat for a bit of time.

We make another dive and that seems to make the rest of the people on the boat have a nap. I too lay down after the dive and fall asleep. Almost back to shore and I awake. Feeling well rested and happy with the goals of having a blast at scuba diving.

Back in port we thro out the hook and make our way to shore.

The day was one to remember. The beauty of the underwater world is something that can only be experience. It must be dived into to understand the beauty and reality of where we live on this planet.

There is more scuba diving trips planned and I will have more on this mater in other posts.

--> Thanks for stopping in to have a look at a scuba dive trip in the Philippines on the island of El Nido.
