Rome: the eternal city
Hello to all dear friends and well back on my blog.
Today I share with you a watercolor painting accompanied by a photographic reportage on some artistic beauties of Rome
The painting represents a triumphal arch and a Trunk of Roman column that dissolve sour over time, leaving room for the insistence of nature.
Two forces, one artificial, man-made and a natural one that takes back possession of space.
A painting with clear tones but with a precise message, nothing is eternal!
Below I share a series of photographs of the so-called Eternal City.

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog.
Oggi condivido con voi un dipinto ad acquarello accompagnato da un reportage fotografico su alcune bellezze artistiche di Roma
Il dipinto rappresenta un arco trionfale e un tronco di colonna romana che si dissolvono nel tempo, lasciando spazio all'insistenza della natura.
Due forze, una artificiale, costruita dall'uomo ed una naturale che si riprende il possesso dello spazio.
Un dipinto dai toni chiari ma dal messaggio preciso, nulla è eterno!

It became the home of the Union of Artists.

La casa verso la fine del 1800 fu messa all'asta e un pittore mecenate la acquistò.
Diventò la sede dell'Unione degli Artisti.

Un bellissimo edificio ottocentesco a forma di ferro di cavallo.
