I come back with memories from the Himalayas. After leaving Shimla we went to Kalpa, and if already the welcome of the Himalayas in Shimla made us amazed, in Kalpa we were literally picking our jaws off the floor.
Góry, wodospady i rzeki, i orły nad nami.
Initially, the road was very nice and pleasant, so even me, the passenger champion, always sleeping on the go, this time watched the nice views fully awake. Mountains and waterfalls, rivers and eagles above us.
A potem dotarliśmy do miejsca zwanego Suicide Point (Punkt Samobójców).
And then we got to a place called Suicide Point. It is a very characteristic curve with a wonderful view, a famous Instagram spot, as you can see for a reason. The road to this place made us shiver - driving a narrow and very winding road with a rather poor surface, on one side a rock wall, on the other - a huge abyss.
Of course, a point like this looks best from the right perspective, so to show why it was so breathtaking, I will post a photo from the appropriate Instagram profile:
Potem dojechaliśmy do samej Kalpy, gdzie mieliśmy nocleg. A nocleg - z takim widoczkiem. Tak, to nasz balkonik.
Then we went to Kalpa, where we had an overnight stay. And accommodation - with such a view. Yes, this is our balcony.
Widok z tarasu:
View from the terrace:
A to widok z tarasu na lewą stronę. Stamtąd rano obudziły nas dźwięki buddyjskich bębnów.
And this is the view from the terrace to the left. From there in the morning we were awakened by the sounds of Buddhist drums.
No ale wróćmy do samej Kalpy.
Well, let's go back to Kalpa. A walk around the area, despite travel fatigue, was something simply amazing.
Te białe szczyty i stożkowe zwieńczenia budowli. Uwielbiam i nie wiem, w którą stronę patrzeć!
These white gables and conical finials of the building. I love it and I don't know which way to look!
The temples, apart from being located in such an incredibly picturesque place, are worth seeing up close. It is completely different from our culture. And somehow - this unique atmosphere appeals to me so much.

A to już z powrotem w naszym pokoju. Nadchodzi zmierzch i robi się bardzo zimno. Ranek z kolei powita nas rześki i słoneczny.
And it's back in our room. Dusk is coming and it gets very cold. The morning, in turn, will welcome us crisp and sunny.
