Axeman's Travelfeed #012 - Larnaca. First morning, first impressions

Actually have already posted two travelfeeds about Promenade of Larnaca (links you can find below). But now we are going to the very first day in the end of August 2018, when we have just arrived.
That was very late, or maybe very early still, flight from Vilnius airport with arriving to Larnaca early morning on about 06.00AM
And the first impressions begun from beautiful sunrise while still in the airplane almost approaching the destination airport.
Here we go with some shots through the window with amazing colors and interesting views on unforgettable Salt Lake and the port of Larnaca aquatory. Followed by few shot after landing

This time we took a tourist trip with pretty budget hotel reservation. 3 stars only, but we almost always on a budget while traveling. But the hotel was chosen at pretty nice location. In between the Salt Lake and the Old City of Larnaca. Basically 10-15 minutes walking distance to both and about 300 meters to the seaside with Promenada itself. But that's further part of Larnaca closer to airport, not to another side with some more expensive hotels and much more night life noise :)

When You do arrive to the hotel such early, normally there is very slight possibility you going to get room at once. So that was not an exclusion. So we had few hours until room to be ready. It is quite disappointing after long trip (4 hours from Klaipeda to Vilnius airport, then waiting there in 4 hrs flight, pretty exhausting) but nothing could be done. So we took a chance to get around a bit see whats going on.

Following first shots to the aquatory and promenade, following by some highlights and details of the small fishing port. Pretty cool and colorful place. Another travelfeed to follow covering only this amazing location

Moving further to famous McKenzie beach passing through the beach hotel line with some unusual architecture and eye catchable details. Some watersport equipment actually waiting the start of the day still... ANd some bikes :)

Then turning to some side small street with nice colorful paintings. And this minivan was just a piece of color art. And I have spotted it at once as perfect location for maybe possible fashion photoshoot. And we actually did it on one of the last days...

Going back caugth the first plane landing visually just to the sea, but that's one of the two airports in the world where the landing line starts almost at the beach line.
And a couple of more interesting visual stories of local restaurants and shops
