For those who close chapters;
Maybe its okay to open a fresh new one.
Heres the thing, due to our craving for traveling a distance, me and my awesome friends decided to go on a road trip, hoping to have a chance to witness something wonderful. And guess what? We ended at Ambuklao Dam, which is truly wondrous. Ambuklao dam is a part of a hydroelectric facility situated in Ambuclao, Bokod, Benguet, Philippines. We ride in a private car of a friend to get to our destination and it takes us 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive.
We urge to go on a road trip early in the morning to catch the sunrise and fortunately, we did it! Clear blue skies, golden sunrise, and greeneries are perfect for the backdrop of my photos. Additionally, the scenic view along the way is truly breathtaking, imagine a zigzag road from the majestic mountainous area of the upland full of tall pine trees going to the lake, truly mesmeric. Maybe, you'll think I'm a bit exaggerated the way I describe, but, simply because I'm that person who appreciates everything that natures can offer, therein lies my truest happiness. (charr lang :D)
We used google maps to locate the exact location, yay! thanks to google maps. However, we still got lost along the way from nowhere to be found by google maps ha-ha. Nevertheless, we still found our way going to the beautiful lake. After that crazy journey that makes me bit dizzy, yehey! weve made it!
Since Im excited, I immidiately step my foot out of the car. And wow! we are welcomed by the smell of the lake, a moistened moss I think? Not sure, but I just love it. We firstly take a look at the spillway then have a little walk in the bridge going to edge where we can see the full scenic view of the lake which is almost color green due to the moss. We spend an hour or more sitting, capturing photos,sharing stories, and just enjoying the picturesque view. Also, I was thingking, ff It happens that I live nearby, maybe I spend some if my time here everyday before sunrise or before sunset reading books or listening to my favorite playlist. This place is a perfect spot for my soul-searching or anyone who seems lost which is sorrounded by magnificent mountains under the blue sky.
We did not try to ride a boat but some tourist are riding boats to completly see the full view, however, swimming is strictly not allowed. On the other hand, locals make a view deck for visitors to capture great photographs.
How to get there? Ask google haha, just kidding aside but heres my suggestion. Better use a private car and you can use google map, but make sure not to focus too much on driving without checking if youre on the right track, you might get lost to somewhere google cant find. :D The lake is beautiful so pack up and visit this astounding place up to the North?
Lastly, I take a lot of photos guys. I hope you'll like it.
