FIG TREE BAY, CYPRUS - Travel Blog #adsactly #travelfeed

If you are ever in Protaras, Cyprus, I would recommend heading to Fig Tree Bay for a great family day out. There are lots of things to do to keep both the adults and the children entertained.

There is a fantastic boardwalk all along the coastline which stretches for miles, with lots of sheltered seating areas along the way to stop and rest or to get out of the sun.

There are plenty of water sports to take part in, rock pools to explore, award winning sandy beaches, clear waters, restaurants, ice cream parlours and that is just along the coast. There are also lots of shops available to browse if you head a little further inland.

Such a romantic place to be!

We were here during the Easter holidays, so it was still very quiet. The main tourist season starts from May 1st. As you can see though, the weather had already warmed up to a scorching 25 degrees!

The water is so clear that you can see the fish swimming around the coastline, which is fascinating for the kids to watch. You could even invest in a small fishing net and see what you can catch!

The beaches are so clean and the sand is golden. It is no wonder this area has won awards for one of the best beaches in Europe.

One of the fun activities that you can do is sail aboard the Black Pearl ship with Capt'n Jack Sparrow and his Crew! This looks like such a fun thing to do, unfortunately we didn't have time to get on this tour, but it really does look like something Families would have so much fun doing! The reviews on the excursion are fantastic too. You can see them here... (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g262055-d1799446-Reviews-The_Black_Pearl-Ayia_Napa_Famagusta_District.html)

We head back to England tomorrow and I will be sad to say farewell to Cyprus. It has been an amazing experience and such a relaxing holiday. Protaras is definitely a place I would recommend to family and friends and to those wanting a family or a couples holiday somewhere scenic.
