At my Mum´s last day in Australia we went on a little River Cruise on the beautiful Noosa River.
In Noosa you can choose between two sunset cruises on the Noosa River. One cost 28$ and you can bring your own drinks. The other one is way cheaper with only 10$ per person. We decided to go for the cheaper cruise and spend the rest for drinks and dinner. I can tell you, I never invested 10$ better than in this cruise.
Am letzten Tag meiner Mutter in Australien machten wir eine kleine Flusskreuzfahrt auf dem schönen Noosa River.
In Noosa kann man zwischen zwei Sonnenuntergangsfahrten auf dem Noosa River wählen. Eine kostet 28 $ und man kann seine eigenen Getränke mitbringen. Die andere ist mit nur 10 $ pro Person viel billiger. Wir entschieden uns für die billigere und dafür den Rest in Getränke und Abendessen zu investieren. Ich kann euch sagen, ich habe noch nie 10 Dollar besser investiert als in diese Flussfahrt.
We arrived at the Noosa Marina in Tewantin around 4:30pm and thought we were early. Boarding was actually at 5pm but the boat was already packed and we just got hold of the last 3 seats.
From here, the journey went upstream to Lake Cooroibah were the journey stops to watch the sunset.
Wir kamen gegen 16.30 Uhr im Noosa Marina in Tewantin an und dachten, wir wären früh dran. Das Boarding war eigentlich um 17.00 Uhr, aber das Boot war bereits voll und wir konnten gerade noch die letzten 3 Plätze ergattern.
Von hier aus ging es zum Lake Cooroibah stromaufwärts, wo die Fahrt stoppt, um den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten.
Apart from the canals at Noosa Waters the houses on the river are some of the biggest and most expensive in Noosa. On the way to the Lake we also passed Makepeace Island the private Island of Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin. He does not live on the island but you can rent it, if you got enough money! :)
Abgesehen von den Kanälen in Noosa Waters gehören die Häuser am Fluss zu den größten und teuersten in Noosa. Auf dem Weg zum See passierten wir auch Makepeace Island, die private Insel von Richard Branson, Gründer von Virgin. Er lebt nicht auf der Insel, aber man kann sie mieten, wenn man genug Geld hat! :)
But not only outside of the water people show their money, no they do it on the water as well. You will see a lot of big boats, catamarans and all kinds of other water toys.
Aber nicht nur außerhalb des Wassers zeigen die Leute ihr Geld, nein sie tun es auch auf dem Wasser. Man sieht viele große Boote, Katamarane und alle möglichen anderen Wasserspielzeuge sehen.
After around 1 hour boat ride we reached the Lake. The sun was already setting and the sky looked just beautiful.
It was really quiet out there and there was almost no wind. We enjoyed the sunset and then went back to Noosa Marina
I think 10 $ for a 2 hour sunset boat ride is such a fair offer and was definitely worth the money. Looking forward to do it again in a few weeks.
Nach rund einer Stunde Bootsfahrt erreichten wir den See. Die Sonne ging bereits unter und der Himmel sah einfach wunderschön aus.
Es war wirklich sehr ruhig dort und es gab fast keinen Wind. Wir haben den Sonnenuntergang genossen und sind dann zurück zum Noosa Marina gefahren.

Ich denke, 10 $ für eine 2-stündige Bootsfahrt bei Sonnenuntergang sind so ein faires Angebot und waren definitiv das Geld wert. Ich freue mich darauf, es in ein paar Wochen wieder zu tun.
