I just want to share some photos of our recent Sydney trip. Although the city of Sydney is quite young, as the whole country is, there are some beautiful old buildings among all the newly built skyscrapers.
But lets start with a photo of the oldest and most rickety plane I ever flew with. The start was that rough tht I thought we´re not going to make it.
The Downing Centre, a former listed shopping centre which is now a court
An old facade in front of a new building
It is so much fun to walk through Sydneys urban canyons since there are more old buildings that I thought. It´s so worth it to stop every now and than and have a look around you.
Old building on George Street which now hosts a Starbucks and a Cinema
If you´re in sydney don´t forget to visit Chinatown, it´s worth it. As well as the Paddy's Market opposite Chinatown.
If you´re visiting Sydney for only 2 days like we did you do not even have to leave the inner city circle as there is so much to see and explore. You can easily spend a whole day strolling through The Rocks, a historical part of the city near the Quay.

Apart from all the small alleys and streets with lots of older buildings there are lots of historical sights like the St Mary´s Cathedral or the Anzac War Memorial, both situated in the Hyde Park which is Sydneys beautiful City Park.
