My travel 2018 #4: "Selfie Coffee at Day 1 on the Summer Capital of the Philippines"

May 2018 · 3 min read · Benguet

Hello fellow Steemians!

Just got home from my summer travel and I am so excited to share my unique experience in The Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City! 🤗🤗

It is known as summer capital because of cool climate during the hot summer in the Philippines coz' it is located in the mountainous Region of Cordillera. As well as called "The City of Pines". Where pine trees are naturally grown all around the City.

I have been here 13 years ago and so much development I noticed in this amazing land. From the transportation system, different establishments, parks, museums, hotels, retaurants, and café which I love doing the most... to sip a cup of coffee in any time of the day.

So just on the first day, we search for one of a kind coffee shop. The first and only seflie cafe in Baguio City, located on the ground floor of Albergo Hotel and Residences called the Grindosetamp Cafe.

Grindosetamp Cafe opened last December 2017 and the only cafe that serves "selfie coffee".

Yes, you heard it right!
Its a selfie coffee shop. 🤗🤗
The drill is simple, all you have to do is to take a selfie or if you already have one, just hand it to the barista via bluetooth to their computer.

They will make you a fresh coffee of your choice whether hot or cold of any available flavor, on top of that is the whip cream/frosting where your photo will be printed using edible ink to enjoy with your buds.

For only Php 180.00, you will have your personalized selfie coffee and other dishes are also available in this cafe, in which I got the Arrabbiata Con Cordillera Pasta... Their coffee and pasta tastes really good. 😋😋

So here's the 1 minute video of my selfie cappuccino coffee. 😍🤗😋
