This is my entry for the @tattoodjay's Wednesday walk challenge.
This time I want to talk about another walk in the city park in early May.
The city was getting warmer and warmer. A huge number of dandelions appeared On the lawns.
My family and I once again decided to walk through the park. My son rode a hoverboard and we went on a bike path. In one place of the park, the bike path goes beyond its territory and passes along the fence of the park.
After some distance, the bike path again returns to the park, climbing up the hill. My son climbs easily on her hoverboard. I wonder how easy it is for him. I have just learned to stand on a hoverboard, but I can’t ride on it.
In this place along the path birch trees with young bright foliage grows.
They look great on a background of bright blue sky.
We continued on our way. Cyclists drive past us.
The sun periodically hides behind the clouds. Further the cycle path goes around the local pond.
And here is the pond itself.
I took some pictures of it, and then we went on. After all, children do not want to stand still.
A little away from the bike path, I saw a birch alley and went to take a picture of it.
The bike path is quite long and has several routes. One of them takes place in the middle of the park.
On the way we met delicate young violets. Apart from dandelions, then violets are among the very first flowers of spring.
By the way, there are running tracks in the park in addition to bicycle paths and sidewalks for pedestrians.
And along the way, we met a tree on which large buds were dispersed and out of them bizarre leaves or flowers appeared. You do not know what kind of tree?
By the way, when we walked, we saw a young sparrow, who was almost not afraid of us. I tried to take a picture of him, but the sparrow on a photo was too small. Then I tried to use a 10x zoom. The quality turned out to be terrible (a 10x zoom in the smartphone is a complete deception), but look at how funny this sparrow is.
At the end of our walk, we again found ourselves on the outer bicycle lane and could not help but pay attention to the large long dandelion path.
See how many of them ...
