Expedition Waterfall Lampahan, Bener Meriah Indonesia.

April 2018 · 3 min read · Aceh

Hi there, welcome to my adventurer. Enjoy..

Back with me the adventurous, challenging and definitely cool.

Adventure times I have scheduled its far-away days, namely looking for Waterfalls in the area of Mount Burni Telong. There is one flow or groove that I see when it is at the top of the mountain Burni Telong, surely it is the flow of water and there must be a waterfall. Starting my point is through District Lampahan, because the position of the waterfall is very close to reach and access road that has been pretty good. Lampahan Waterfall is located in Pantan Pediangan Village, Timang Gajah District, Bener Meriah Regency.

According to information from the community, there are 7 waterfalls that exist along the river flow Lampahan. Hopefully I can find it up 7 waterfalls.

The trip we continue to the first waterfall, the waterfall that has a height of 18 meters. Access to get down to this waterfall is pretty steep, so I have to hold on to the roots of the tree.

I will relax for a moment at the first waterfall while lying in the hammock, me and my friends will have lunch here. The second waterfall is not too far from the first waterfall, because it is still in one stream.

I continued my journey to the second Waterfall, the track just trekking the river. I have to be careful, because the rocks in the water are very slippery. Did not close the possibility of slipping and falling slip. Only 20 minutes, we arrived at the second waterfall.

The second waterfall has a height of 10 meters and has a very clear water, similar to the first waterfall I encountered. There are already two waterfalls that we have encountered, then we will go to the third waterfall. The distance is not far, precisely above the second waterfall. I only take 5 minutes to ride through the side of the waterfall by climbing up, his grip using the roots of trees.

This third waterfall has a height of about 7 meters with two falls and has a small pool suitable for bathing.
We've found three waterfalls, four more waterfalls that have not been. The next trip to the fourth waterfall takes a long time, because the condition of his field is still dense forest and requires adequate equipment to get there. Weather conditions did not support, so I and my friends looking for a shady place to rest. At break, we evaluate the results of the trip and the decision to continue the expedition or not. I prefer to go home instead of taking big risks, given the terrain and weather conditions. Eventually we all chose to go home and will continue the expedition on another occasion. A journey or adventure is said to be successful not to arrive and to arrive at the desired place, but succeed and succeed until each home safely. Thank you for seeing, reading and appreciating this post. Hopefully useful and fun, green greetings.
