| Taking the coach from Shaoguan in north Canton to Humen in the south you can see the very attractive landscape of Canton. I don't really understand why there is not more tourism in that region. Chinese don't really seem to care for landscape, unless it's something very spectacular or something where a lot of other people go to. | Wenn man den Bus von Shaoguan in Nordkanton nach Humen im Süden nimmt, hat man die Chance, die attraktive Landschaft Kantons zu bewundern. Verstehe nicht wirklich, warum es nicht mehr Tourismus in der Region gibt. | The region around Shaoguan is quite hilly, with some mountainous outcrops. On the day I took the pictures there were low clouds & fog, though less & less so the further south I came. | Die Region um Shaoguan is ziemlich hügelig mit einigen richtiggehenden Bergen. Am Tag, als ich die Bilder machte, gab es leider tiefhängende Wolken & Nebel, allerdings immer weniger davon, je weiter ich nach Süden kam. |

| Canton is densely populated & almost every bit of ground has been touched by humans. Yet there is a lot of wildlife (part of which you can see when you visit an animal market. Perhaps the many hillsides, which make agriculture difficult, offer some refuge. | Kanton ist dichtbesiedelt & fast jedes Stück Land wurde schonmal von Menschen berührt.
