The weather is not that great well actually its bad but we have a holiday and nothing can discourage us. Its 8.30 and we will be in this port untill 17.30h. The sun came up at 7.57 h and like every day untill now that’s so beautiful !!

Today we don’t walk off the boat but we disembark by tender. This is because the SEAVIEW is remaining at anchor so the tender service will bring us to shore. Is a complementary service for all the passengers.

It’s an experience on its own to go off a ship that’s really big to a little boat on open sea. Well this morning we saw the ponton arrive and Dock next to the boat under our cabin way below.

This way of transportation is neccessary because the ship cant go into the port of Cannes. The boys were excited and if i am honest so,was i !

The way this works is great but there are about 5000 people on board so its a logistical nightmare. But all the personnel and security is busy getting everybody on and off the ship on open sea.

Cannes was flodder with people wearing the blue poncho’s, we were the only cruise ship in the area. And due to the bad weather not everybody went ashore.

There were three kinds of tenders used to get of the ship two kinds from the port and two orange tenders normally on the side of the boat. We were in the white one, both on our way to Cannes and back. All and all a great experience, and now off to the room , captains dinner and gala night tonight.

But the tenders are in place again on the side of the boat and the popitel has guided us out to open sea. We are sailing of to Mallorca. The distantie from Cannes to Plama de Mallorca is 340 nautical Miles. And the sunset is so beautiful. The seagulls provided me with the best material for feathered friday.
