Palma de Mallorca gave us a warm welcome and we love very its friday and we are seeing the beautiful island in front of us. And like Rafael Nadal i agree. May be I should have asked @abh12345 for the best cafes, i forgot......

I live where i like to live, i live in Majorca, Spain and i am nut sure there are better places By Rafael Nadal

We embarked with the help of the pilot from the port of Mallorca. Its a small port so the MSC had to manoeuvre in phases to dock. Palma de Mallorca is a spanish town with 400.000 inhabitants. Very clean, nice green and so many beautiful old buildings with great history. Today we Will board with our pasports on the docks of the harbour. That different very day. The whole logistical program of imbarking and embarking every day is a security masterpiece, and the personell of MSC is so nice and patience, while 5000 people want to leave the ship as fast as they can.

We took the shuttle bus and go into town from the harbour. Its sunny 23 degrees here and the bus ride took 6 minutes. The last bus will take us to the ship at 21.30 if we want to stay in town, but we will have to see with this weather and the kids the swimming pool and lounge area is a magnet too.

In Mallorca the climate is mild throughout the year and thats why the plants and flowers are so beautiful. The old city centre is a great maze of streets with nice shippers and all that i never new, not the standard H&M and Zara. Loved it even bought a Spanish hand made floor sweeping dress, at Arianes Hippy House. Most of the walkways of this city quarter are fairly narrow, surrounded by those buildings from which the architecture is so beautiful i took a 1000 photos, not gonna share them all but surely going to make some more blogs in the future.

The cathedral and the royal palace were gorgeous, these fine monuments were built on the remains of the moorish alcazar and mosque. The main attraction was the midieval cathedral and we burned a candle in thought.its dedicated to the holy Mary. The interior also conceals a small work by Gaudi.

When we left the port we were in line with 2 other cruiseships. The first was the Aida we see that one in Rotterdam very often and the other one was Tui boat. Bothe were fully coloured with lights while shipping out.

ALL IN ALL A GREAT DAY........ ON TO BARCELONA

Distance from Palma de Mallorca to Barcelona 126 nautical miles.
