Good afternoon steemers,
This morning I woke feeling so amazing that I decided to call in sick and go look at some water. My chosen location was the local Nudgee Beach area about 20mins drive north of Brisbane City.
This visit I spent more time in the mangrove section that boarders the Nudgee Beach
After being home for a few days I thought it would be a good idea to do a post about my trip, more of an overall, round up style blog....
I hope you enjoy!
As I landed in Bali I was picked up by the owner of a permaculture farm and local driver named Kadek. He picked me up from the air
Malindo airline review: BNE to DPS return.
Today I share with you my experience flying with Malindo airlines from Brisbane, Australia to Denpasar, Indonesia. This was a return flight and cost $340 AUD.
I was lucky enough to catch this sunrise on the return flight

Unfortunately I write this from a homestay in Sanur as my flight home is approaching quickly......But, not to worry..... I made the most of my last adventure on Nusa Penida Island!
The day started off with coffee and this view, I could tell it was going to be a great day.
I'm still here on Nusa Penida island in Indonesia and I must say this place is pretty amazing. If you get the chance to visit don't hesitate!!
This beautiful and very common back at home Plumeria pudica in the hills was a nice sight while lost on some terrible "roads."
After a couple of days lazing around in a homestay in Sanur, Bali I decided to book a speed boat to the island of Nusa Penida. For the price of $25 AUD (and I probably got ripped off) I would have been silly not to!
Before catching the boat I stopped in at the turtle conservatio
Amed was nice and all but I think exploring the surrounding areas on my scooter has to be some of the most fun so far, with sensational ocean and Mountain views it is hard to beat.
I left Amed with just enough time to beat the almost guaranteed afternoon rains...

After about an hour and a half of riding I reach
A really terrible song once told me to stick to the rivers and the streams that I am used to, but in the wise words of Kenny Powers I thought fuck that noise and went searching today.
Swimming under this guy was a therapeutic experience once the plastic instagram "models" decided to p
It's steaming hot here in ubud, Bali.... The humidity is absolutely through the roof.
Somehow I still manage to consume bulk coffee and do work on the farm.
The flight with malindo air was boring, I will do an airline review in the near future
I was greeted by the owner of the farm a
Recently I took a vehicle ferry over to Stradbroke Island from Cleveland on the mainland of Brisbane. So I thought I'd share some pictures with you all....
Waiting to take off on the first ferry at 5:30am, well worth the early start!
Cleveland is roughly a 45min drive from Brisba
Today I take you to the beautiful Botanic Gardens nestled in the city centre of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. This place is a genuine Botanical Library and is rather spread out compared to the Mt. Coot-tha Botanic Gardens I will do a post on in the near future. I hope you enjoy
