Chasing waterfalls in Ubud, Bali.

Hey steemers,
A really terrible song once told me to stick to the rivers and the streams that I am used to, but in the wise words of Kenny Powers I thought fuck that noise and went searching today.

Swimming under this guy was a therapeutic experience once the plastic instagram "models" decided to piss off back to their fancy villas

I think the water fall pictured above was called Tukad Penyampuan but I visited three today so I can't be entirely sure.

These three waterfalls are all in the same spot really but the one above is the largest I visited today.
The tropical plant life in Ubud is also breathtaking 😍

Heliconias growing wild in the jungle are an amazing sight

One of the smaller falls not far from the large one, also worth the extra steps

Thankfully the smaller falls had less instagram types around and I could just sit and take in the scenery...

This little rapid would have been fun to raft down but there were no rafts in sight

All of these spots are literally a half an hour scooter ride from my hostel... Even with a completely flat rear tyre (very scary on Indonesian roads haha.)

The calmer side of the rapid slide offered me some contemplation and mental adjustment

It's been one hell of a day steemers, now its beer o'clock at the white villa hostel in Ubud.
I will leave you with a pic of the pup here at the hostel, she is a heap of fun!!!
