Nervi and his walk

Nervi and his walk

March 2022 · 2 min read · Italy

the luck of my job is that it gives me the opportunity to move throughout Italy and therefore see and enjoy truly wonderful places but one of the regions that I prefer most of all is Liguria and today in this article I would like to talk to you about the beautiful Borgo Marinaro of nerves a very populated district of Genoa.

Nervi is the classic seaside village characterized by these houses of a bygone era in bright and colorful hues and many romantic restaurants where fish is served.

Of course this village is rich in history and architectural remains of the time such as this beautiful Roman bridge which is still in good condition to this day.

But in my opinion the strong point of Liguria as the Cinque Terre demonstrates are its walks overlooking the sea there are many in Liguria but one that is truly romantic and that I definitely recommend if you come to Italy to do is the promenade of nerves or also called the walk of Anita Garibaldi.

From my point of view it is the most beautiful walk in Italy then it is always subjective, however it is one of the unmissable destinations for those who come to Genoa and this route is about 2 kilometers long and starts from the port of Nervi and offers a crazy view of the sea.

it is a simple and very relaxing route therefore suitable for everyone, including children and along the way you will find benches where you can rest and admire the landscape.

the advice is to come and walk here maybe at dawn or towards sunset because from here I am sure you can see spectacular sunsets unfortunately for work reasons I did it during the afternoon so I could not enjoy this and in any case you can come in any season of the year also because Liguria is lucky enough to always have a beautiful temperate climate.

I hope with the photos I have virtually taken you on this beautiful walk and I hope I made you want to come and do it in person, thanks for reading the article.
