Morrocan people

ENG
In Morocco, taking a photograph of a person is like cursing.
There is a popular belief, still very rooted, that does not allow Moroccans to be photographed because their soul would be stolen.
Obviously not everyone believes it and these people, a little less fearful, have become clever and have started to ask for a "tip" to be portrayed.

ITA

It is very difficult to find a Moroccan who accepts to have his picture taken but my intent was to immortalize the locals while doing everyday chores, jobs, everyday life in short. I hope this photo gallery is a worthy representation of a part of the population that literally has remained in my heart.

ENG
Pastors, humble workers, women who pounded argan seeds with methods of other times helped by associations with the aim of providing them with a job to support the family and street musicians; all people capable of transmitting serenity only with a glance and a slight smile.
Seniors with tired eyes, arrived from who knows where years ago to hope for something new and better.
A different but unique world.

P.S. Beautiful and picturesque snake charmers but that big tip they wanted for two photos, but this too is part of the journey and I don't regret it for nothing.
