About the beginning of this trip I wrote already here - it's the part 1: https://steemit.com/travel/@careassaktart/travel-diary-summer-2016-30th-of-july-jadrija-croatia

This is the sequel of the post I've published recently which you can read here - the part 2: https://steemit.com/travelfeed/@careassaktart/my-travels-in-2016-croatia-monte-negro-kosovo-macedonia-bulgaria-serbia-croatia-part-2 - & you can still upvote it & thanks for that!

At the time I was often driving back & forth between Split & Trogir & was also enjoying the tranquility of the island Čiovo & here are some more of my travel experiences... This is what I wrote in my travel diary more than 2 years ago:

Here we are again, my Twingo & me, waiting in the long-long car-serpent slowly dragging on the road on the way from Čiovo to Trogir. Last time I spent 1,5 h to pass 3 km on the same road! The good news are that the bridge is being built which will connect the island & the land so that this traffic jam should be avoid in the future. (The bridge is built now but still it's not in use!)

Since I left here, I spent 4-5 days in Split where I had really great time. I have been hosted by my friend Ivana & her mother & sister. Again I was the only man in the house! They've been cooking for me every day but I was also helping around as much as I could. Almost every evening I've been playing djembe in the Marmontova street & Riva, along with many other street performers...

Split is full of tourists at the time & it's living 24/7 full-power! Sometimes I felt like on a fashion show - me sitting or standing aside & hundreds of people passing by, especially women, extraordinary beautiful women! Sometimes my mind got overdosed feminine round shapes bouncing in the air everywhere around me, some smaller & some bigger, & the wide smiles with white teeth, & their looks telling me all sorts of things or it was just my mind imagining all the fantasies which almost never came true cause I have never put an effort in making them real... But I don't believe so! The mind is not the only one telling about the surrounding environment! There are energies, mine & theirs... So, there weren't just boobs & asses bouncing in the air & into my eyes & my mind - the energies were bouncing too - towards me & away from me! & those energies were telling a lot more, especially when you learn to read them! I'm still learning. My whole life I'll be learning...

Here are some of those extraordinary, supernaturally beautiful summer girls - I shot these one sunny summer morning wandering around the streets of Split accompanied with my dearest Hungarian friend Richy - the golden statue guy:

Even thou I hate when my photos aren't sharp & they're out-of-focus, I just couldn't erase this one cause it's sooo sweet!

This last 5-photo-series are my favorite! In some moments I felt like a stalker but I didn't gave up the idea to document all that beauty & sweetness even thou I didn't have any permission from any of these spontaneous models! Cause of that I felt really strange but a lot of the girls were really enjoying the photo-shoot with them as the theme! Thank you sooo much!

When I got to Split the first day, I caught the a parking place , a free one, like it was waiting for me exclusively & the car size matching Twingo's! I haven't moved it from that spot for 5 days & it waited for me there faithfully...

In the meantime, I managed to achieve another deal with a house owner on the island Čiovo, so I went back to Trogir to play some music first, before I go to Čiovo. I usually make architecture photography & partially manage to cover some of my life expenses with it & increase my budget. I usually take some time to collect contacts of many of the houses & apartments owners & send them offers for my photo services via E-mail.

The house owner from Čiovo answer my offer & called me & we made a deal. But of course, something came between us: A 2nd summer storm happened (Remember the one on Pag?!) - "neverin" - heavy rain accompanied with the strong wind blowing from every direction along with the lightening & thunder!

We met at this French guy's house but the storm came before me so we concluded that it's not the best time to shoot the house. I went back towards Trogir & again waited for few hours in the car row but this time I decided to park the car somewhere aside & go for a swim, what I did cause when the storm passed, the Sun started to heat up again - you can just imagine how I felt sitting in the car on 36 - 38 °C?! The sea saved me & I cooled off.

Around 18:00 h I managed to reach Trogir & decided to try my luck again with playing in the street. Only this time I chose different time & place. I took a place near the bridge to Čiovo... Exactly on that spot begins the riva & cause of the storm a lot of people ended their beach time earlier & went for a walk before dinner. So, there was I to amuse them...

I forgot to mention that in Split I met some old friends: Just on the first evening I met a street art colleague, a street performer, Richard from Hungary who works as a golden statue. We first met in 2015 in Rijeka & from that moment we became very close friends! He had many smart tricks in his sleeve how to legally make money on the street & he used to live whole summer in Croatia, mostly Split, but never rent any apartments, just living on the beach, in the park or the forest near the center. Most of the money he earned, he was sending to his girlfriend to Hungary cause in Hungary at that moment was the great economical depression, similar to the Croatian one, with no future perspective & performing in the streets of Budapest is very strictly regulated & there are more "problems" going on in the country, same as almost in any other...

Except him, I met some new friends, also my street colleagues: Ivan the didgeridoo players, Nebojša- another djembe playet, another Ivan - also a djembe player... Our working place was mostly Marmontova street & riva & there were no arguments between us. On the contrary, almost every evening after work, we were getting together in a bar called "To je to" (which in Croatian means: "That's it!") - it was just in a side street very close to Marmontova & very often held live music performances. They also had very good & not expensive beers, excellent teas & great waiters & beautiful waitresses. Just across the bar there was a small restaurant with Middle-American small dishes like tapas. It was a magical combination of hospitality! The owners of both bars were an American guy & a Cuban girl & even some foreigners were working there... It was the best place in Split to hang out at the time!

The Street Performing Crew - Richy on the left, Ivan in the middle - a djembe player & an academic artist, the guy on the right whose name I've forgotten was a great soccer talent who was invited by the Croatian A league Hajduk's coach to come to play but he refused - he can joggle with the ball for hours
