Did you ever try vegetarian food? Recently my working colleagues invited me to try a vegetarian restaurant that located at Upper Serangoon, Singapore. After the project meeting, we went to lunch at the vegetarian restaurant.
The restaurant is called Greenland Vegetarian Restaurant which’s a shop lot located at Upper Serangoon Road.
The restaurant is compiled by 2 units of shop lot. It is looking widen and comfortable. The interior of restaurant is quite bright, modern and simple. It is an ideal place to have family gathering dinner and birthday celebration.
We reached about 7pm. It was full house.
Take a look at the menu. The restaurant mostly providing Traditional Chinese cuisine such as Petai fried rice, Gong Bao G nugget rice, Olive veggie fried rice, Xiang Chun fried rice, rice with gravy and vegetables, sweet potato leaves with chili, saute French beans, baby spinach, hotplate brinjal, stir fried season green, etc.
Besides providing traditional Chinese cuisine, the restaurant also providing Thai vegetarian food such as mushroom Kailan in mushroom sauce, aromatic basil veggie G-nugget, claypot chili red tom yum soup, delicious longan sea coconut dessert, etc.
Let’s see what we had ordered:
Baby Spinach 上汤苋菜 with price S$8.00 (small). The baby spinach was very fresh and tasty with clear vegan soup. The baby spinach soup added ginger, radish, wolfberry, and vegetarian ham.
I highly recommend this Baby Spinach Soup to vegetarian friends as it is super fresh and tasty!
2nd order is Pad Thai Glass Noodles 泰式冬粉 with price S$7.50. It was added black fungus, red chili, cabbage, cashew nut, Konnyaku fishball, bean spout, and straw mushrooms.
This Padthai was tasty especially the ingredients all are fresh and yummy!
Thai Pineapple Fried Rice 黄梨炒饭with price S$5.50. It was came with big portion and added many ingredients such as pineapples, Shiitake mushrooms, radish, green beans, raisins, sweet corns, cashew nuts, peanuts, vegetarian ham, and lettuce. I felt contented and pleased to have this pineapple fried rice over this restaurant.
