Kindness I encountered from strangers while traveling on the path of knowledge and medicine

June 2020 · 3 min read · Venezuela
The simplicity of the kindness is in small acts. Since the birth of every living being, radiating pheromones of protection, until those small gestures that give joy to every individual adjacent to it. In the garden of children, regardless of skin color, culture, or belief their samples of affections are an example of pure kindness. From my perspective the life in a constant journey of the former self, the new person that is shaping as a vase of clay. Currently, played a role in the area of health in intensive care unit. In spite of the economic chaos, pandemic, or whatever you want to call to the entrance of the COVID to this generation. My colleagues nurses, technicians cardiorespiratory, physician intensivists, cleaning staff, bionalysts. They have demonstrated their great devotion and responsibility that load on their backs. Despite the lack of materials, tools for compliance with treatments is scarce, the creativity to solve abounds in cases of emergency. And the key to open and maintain this work is kindness.

This team of which I am proud treats each of these patients as a family, children, and adolescents as a child, the elderly as a father, and grandparents. The delicacy made from the staff that cleans, psychological support, they deliver a piece of them to each one of the patients. And that is worth more than any seat, airs of grandeur that have staff who only like to work in private clinics. It is a law that this service is free from pride. In fact, what should protrude the be responsible and be a friendly person. Certainly, the gift of service is something with which we are all born, but not all put into practice. The vanity of this world blind and does not appreciate or feel the joy of doing everything you do on the day with complete kindness. It is a law that this service is free from pride. In fact, what should protrude is the be responsible and be friendly. Certainly, the gift of service is something with which we are all born, but not all put into practice. The vanity of this world blind and does not appreciate or feel the joy of doing everything you do on the day with complete kindness. As you read this you may seem trivial, but a good day, you're doing it right, a hug for the patient's family in critical condition, you can make a big difference. I write for that which is not seen behind the walls, that only what we perceive and even unconscious from, those who play a role in health. And they are fighters with the nails of his fingers to carry out its work efficiently. The opening theme is: ¿what strangers during my trip I was able to witness history of kindness? The answer is that I have witnessed that humans who worked at the hospital. Show kindness in what they do, in what they say and what they teach. It is hard to describe in words. But with this you've read then I hope you're as one of these people I've known on this journey of learning that has allowed me to appreciate in these 3 years of service. I remember there can be no impact if you don't start the change in your actions.
