What does open roads tells you ?

October 2019 · 3 min read · Ladakh

I am a traveler and if someone ask me what does civilization means to you so my obvious answer would be open and empty roads.

What does it says ?

Whenever I see an open empty road, the one thing that comes to my mind is 'let's explore this road' and to find the sanity for which we all were born a thousands of years ago. That road asks me to find where does it ends, to find that loop where it all started.

Roads were the beginning of our Civilization ?

It all started a hundred years ago when we were all living just to survive then we started to travel places and meet new people, then the trade started and look where we are today standing in flesh and blood, we are the living proof of that civilization, if ot wasn't for roads, then we all will be living a nomad life even tomorrow. So my friends roads were the beginning and the most important key of our Civilization.

Don't waste it, just ride it and enjoy it

Roads are the gift that's being given to us a hundreds of years ago and it is our choice that what to do with that gift. If you ask me I would say that this is the most wonderful gift that I have ever received since the day I was born, it let's me fullfill my dreams, and my friends what else gift do you want that let's you live your dreams, make your dreams come true, my dream was to explore the world and go to places that I have never been before in my life and what one thing that made it possible ? 'Roads',

This may sound like a nonsense to you but trust me people, roads are as important invention as a telephone, man invented telephone which made the communication at a distant place with distant people possible and that is the second great invention of our Civilization but the roads will always be the first one, well that's what I believe, the choices of other individuals may vary, but think would it be possible to meet someone in a matter of hours who is hundreds of Kilometres from you if it wasn't for roads ? the complete network that connects the world. To meet someone in-person and share your feelings and express emotions to them, that is not possible over the phone, so for me roads will always be the foundation of our Civilization.

Thankyou for reading and viewing my photography.
