Today, I took a stroll through the city and snapped a collection of cool photos along the way. I wandered around North Bridge Road, a place where office buildings, hotels, and shopping malls dominate the scene. Among these modern highrise buildings, you’ll find charming shophouses with beautifully preserved classical architecture. While I'm always fascinated by the traditionally designed buildings, today, the sleek modern buildings and unique sculptures really caught my eye.

Starting my adventure from Bugis Street, it took me about 8 minutes of walk to reach Duo Residence, one of the latest skyscrapers in the area.

The building's façade is covered in hexagonal patterns, resembling a giant beehive. It’s amazing how the hexagonal pattern cover almost the entire face of the building, making it look like a work of art from every angle.

Reaching the center of this development made me feel tiny, surrounded by towering buildings.

Thank goodness for my wide-angle lens, which let me capture the entire scene, making sure that I'm able to showcase the feeling that I had through the photos.

One of the coolest parts of this walk was seeing the juxtaposition of two buildings: Parkview Square with its classic design, and Duo Residence with its ultra-modern look.

Standing between them felt like being in the middle of a time loop from different eras, appreciating the best of both architectural worlds.

Despite the concrete jungle vibe, I was impressed with how they’ve integrated nature into the surroundings. There’s a man-made waterfall that looks so natural, you’d think it was crafted by Mother Nature herself. The blend of greenery and water features creates a refreshing oasis amid the skyscrapers.

Office workers seemed to love this little urban retreat, chilling out, having lunch, or just taking a break under the trees. How I wish that I would be able to work in one of the offices of this place.

After soaking in the sights at Duo Residence, I headed over to Parkview Square. This building’s classic, almost Gotham City-esque design, with its intricate details and ornaments, transported me to a different era. It’s both fascinating and intriguing.

Within Parkview Square some sculptures are carefully positioned within its development, each telling its own story.

My favorite is a sculpture of five figures stacked on top of each other, looking like they’re about to take flight.

There’s also a striking sculpture of a golden bird, possibly a heron, which stands majestically in front of the towering skyscrapers.

Overall, my walk around North Bridge Road was totally worth it. The mix of stunning architecture and captivating sculptures made it an exciting and visually rich experience. Hope you enjoyed this little tour of my adventure. Catch you on the next one!
