Hello today I will tell you more about Caracas of my loves, in my previous post entitled "Caracas Time Machine" I talked a little about the places you can visit and enjoy in the historic center, because today I will tell you a little more about my visit to the House of the Link and part of its history.

Hola hoy les contaré más sobre Caracas de mis amores, en mi post anterior titulado "Caracas Máquina del tiempo" les hable un poco sobre los lugares que pueden visitar y disfrutar en el casco historia pues hoy les mostré un poco más sobre mi visita a la Casa del Vínculo y parte de su historia.

The Casa del Vínculo y el Retorno, was the house of the Liberator of America Simon Bolivar, is located in the corner of gradillas next to the Plaza Bolivar in Caracas, where he lived since his return from Spain with his wife Maria Teresa.

At the age of 15, Bolivar was sent to continue his studies in Spain in 1799, where he met Maria Teresa del Toro and Alyasa, with whom he began a courtship and then got married. Simon was 19 and Maria Teresa was 21, marrying in Spain in 1802.

The couple embarked to Caracas, soon after, Maria Teresa, his wife contracted malaria or yellow fever, during the visit to the Casa de San Mateo, home of the Bolivar family located in the state of Aragua, unfortunately Maria Teresa could not overcome the disease and this caused his death in 1803, was buried the next day in the Holy Trinity Chapel, where his remains were placed.

After the death of his wife Bolivar, he decided to undertake a new trip to Europe in order to clear up his pain.

La Casa del Vínculo y el Retor no, era la casa del Libertador de América Simón Bolívar, está ubicada en la esquina de gradillas al sureste de la Plaza Bolivar de Caracas, en dónde vivió desde su regreso de España junto a su esposa María Teresa.

Bolívar a la edad de 15 años fue enviado a continuar con sus estudios a España en 1799 , donde conoció María Teresa del Toro y Alyasa, con quién inicio un noviazgo y luego contraen matrimonio , Simón con 19 años y María Teresa con 21 años, casándose en España en 1802.

El matrimonio se embarca a Caracas , al poco tiempo después, María Teresa, su esposa contrae malaria o fiebre amarilla, en la visita a la Casa de San Mateo, casa de la familia Bolivar ubicada en el Estado Aragua , desafortunadamente María Teresa no logro vencer la enfermedad y está le ocasiono la muerte en 1803, fue enterrada el día siguiente en la capilla santísima trinidad, dónde colocaron sus restos.

Luego del fallecimiento de su esposa Bolivar decide emprender un nuevo viaje a Europa para despejar su dolor.

He met again with his teacher Simón Rodríguez, together they traveled to Italy, and in Rome he took the Oath of Monte Sacro, where Bolivar committed himself to the freedom of America from his oppressor "I will not give rest to my arm, nor rest to my soul, until I have broken the chains that oppress us by the will of the Spanish power". And so it was, Bolivar consecrated his life and managed to free Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia and Venezuela from the Spanish crown.

Many struggles and battles were planned in the Casa de Vínculos. When General Francisco de Miranda returned in 1810, he stayed in the Casa del Vinculo del Libertador , where the Sociedad Patriótica, a revolutionary association founded by Miranda, met, thus giving birth to the movement that began with the Realist War of Resistance.

En 1804 estando en París

se reencontró con su maestro Simón Rodríguez, juntos viajaron a Italia, y en Roma hizo el Juramento de Monte Sacro, dónde Bolivar se compromete a liberar a América de su opresor "no daré descanso a mi brazo, ni reposo a mi alma, hasta que haya roto las cadenas que nos oprimen por voluntad del poder español" . Y así fue, Bolivar consagro su vida y logro liberar a Ecuador, Bolivia, Perú, Colombia y Venezuela.

En la Casa de Vínculos se planificaron muchas luchas y batallas. Al regreso del General Francisco de Miranda en 1810, se residencia en la Casa del Vinculo del Libertador , dónde se dan reunión de la Sociedad Patriótica, una asociación revolucionaria fundada por Miranda, dándose así el nacimiento del movimiento que comienza con la guerra contra de resistencia realistas.

When Bolivar returned to the country, he joined the pro-independence side that proclaimed Venezuela's break with the Spanish Crown, and joined the Army with the rank of colonel, under the orders of Francisco de Miranda.

The Act of Independence was first printed in 1811 in the House of the Bond.

From the house of the link, Bolivar left when he was acclaimed by the Municipality of Caracas as Captain General of the Venezuelan Army, under the nickname of Libertador 1814.

In the middle of the independence struggles while Bolivar was in battle, Bolivar's property was taken several times, mainly the Casa del Vinculo, he managed to rescue his property every time, the last time was on his return from the Carabobo Battle 1821.

Bolivar al regresar al país se sumó al bando independentista que proclamó la ruptura de Venezuela con la Corona Española , se incorporó al Ejército con rango de coronel, bajo las órdenes de Francisco de Miranda.

Se imprimió por primera vez el Acta de la independencia en 1811 en la casa del vínculo.

Desde la casa del vinculo salió Bolivar al ser aclamado por la Municipalidad de Caracas como capitán general de los ejércitos de Venezuela, con el sobrenombre de Libertador 1814.

En medio de las luchas independentistas mientras Bolivar estaba en Batalla fueron los bienes de Bolivar tomados varias veces, principalmente la Casa del Vínculo, el logro rescatar su propiedad todas las veces, la última vez fue a su regreso de la Batalla Carabobo 1821.

July 5, 1827 Bolivar leaves the city of Caracas for the last time from the Casa del Vínculo.

Unfortunately this house was violated at the time and abandoned for a long time, it was possible to recover a small part of it, which is still our essence, its foundations and its historical feeling.

5 de julio de 1827 Bolívar sale por última vez de la ciudad de Caracas desde la Casa del Vínculo.

Desafortunadamente está casa fue violentada en la época y abandonada mucho tiempo, se logró recuperar una pequeña parte de ella, que igual nuestra su escencia sus bases y su sentir histórico.
