Hey Steemians!
I continue with my attempts to make Rila Mountains(Bulgaria) famous in Steemit.
I counted my postes, related to this place out of curiosity and this is actually number 25 :)(including a lot of contests entries) and there will be more. I’ve spent a lot of time in these mountains, trekking, skiing or climbing, and I love them.
Today I’ll share with you some smartphone photos from a great one day trek (as always - one of my favorites) from Maritsa Hut to 3 high peaks - Golyam Bliznak(2779 m), Malak Bliznak(2772m) and Mancho(2771m) peaks.
As I’ve already mentioned, I am not a fan of the most popular routes in Rila Mountains for summer trekking , because they are too crowded during the summer and it’s hard to feel the mountain spirit and atmosphere.
This trekking route is not one of them. Probably it is because of the hard access to Maritsa Hut(the starting point)- 4-5 hours hiking from Borovets, or with a car for probably an hour, because the road is terrible and driving should be really slow( the car should be a high one and preferably old).
Or maybe it is because of the cloudy cold day, but we met really few people. Like.. maybe 3 for the whole day.
So it was like private paradise. All this spectacular views with no one else around.
Marichin circus and Marichini Lakes from Mancho Peak.
This circus definitely looks gorgeous from above!
Wonderland?

Dam Beli Iskar. The access to this dam is forbidden, so it can be seen only from high places like this.

The trek is circular and coming back to Maritsa Hut there is this great view of the peaks Golyam Bliznak and Malak Bliznak (translation - big twin and little twin). We are coming from there!

The sun was hiding behind the clouds almost the whole time, which is not bad for a long summer trek, but sadly the photos are too dark, but I hope that you still could feel the magic of the mountains!
Thank you for checking my post! :)
