Vintage Cars in Alba [EN-IT]

October 2019 · 5 min read · Piemont

Ciao Steemians!

During my holidays in Acqui Terme I I found out that just a few kilometers away, in the city of Alba, the truffle festival was being held in those days, my girlfriend and I took the opportunity to come and see it, with my great surprise in the streets you could find a bit of everything, including the exhibition of about twenty vintage cars.

Having never had the driver license, my motors passion is not very strong but I like to see the new futuristic cars shape. Even more, however, I love to see vintage cars, a passion that came to me seeing films set in the past, especially from the 40s to the 70s.

Cars that "sweat" class from every millimeter of sheet metal that covers them. Old style interiors more like sofas compared to the seats and tight spaces of many cars on the market today.

In this article you can see several, practically all those exhibited in the square that day, "unfortunately" there are also people who in some photos obstruct the view a little bit, but on the other hand these beauties have been targeted by many people at the festival that I was pretty lucky to capture them.

I was still lucky enough to arrive at a fairly quiet moment that allowed me to take a picture of each car at speed to move on to the next one pretty quickly because I was not the only one wanting to photograph them.

I don't like vertical shots very much, in this case it would have been more appropriate to take vertical and closer shots, maybe a little from the bottom considering the subjects in question, but I had to chose for practicality and shoot vertically almost all photos.

I am not a great expert on car models, it is difficult for me to establish year and model of the cars present, as you can see from these shots, they have been taken care of and loved, they are practically perfect in all respects despite their age.

The models but not the brands if I recognized them, naturally among the most famous in the world: Fiat, Mercedes, BMW, Ford, Peugeot, Bianchi, Lancia and Alfa Romeo.

Most come from Italy, almost inevitable considering where the festival took place, among them the most numerous were those of the Fiat company from Turin.

Now the Italian part of the article begins, but don't stop to look the pictures because they are all different until the last one!

IT
