A Morning Walk at Morningstar in Queenstown, New Zealand

Day 22 of our 1 month road trip in New Zealand. On the day we were to leave Queenstown, it was my turn to drive. There was nothing planned. When hotel check out was done and we were all up and ready inside the car, I surprised the family for a short stop over at the Morningstar Track on Arthurs Point Road.

There's a road that bends to the right just before Edith Cavell Bridge. This would take you to an open parking space with the track marker that indicates the start of the trail.

It was a short hike in silence. We had the trail all to ourselves, except for the Shotover Jet Boat that skids from time to time. We were all taken by the scenery and all grateful to have made this detour.
