😎 Beautiful Sicily part-2 | Wunderschönes Sizilien Teil-2 | Hermoso Sicilia parte-2 😍

Today in the second part of the Sicily Report there are still a few pictures from Sicily, a few of the beautiful mountainous landscape, a few of our penthouse at the foot of Nicosia in the middle of the island, and a few of the work assignments with our Sicilian colleagues as well as one of our clients.

Yes that was a really nice time I had there every time on the island, far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city in Germany or Spain extremely relaxed (muy andaluz) in the pleasant Mediterranean climate. For people who either didn't want to communicate with you or didn't want to let you go. No not what you think now again, no kidnapping, no ransom, just talk about this and that relaxed.
On the island there are a lot of donkeys (with 4 legs) and at least as many horses. In every bigger city monuments and buildings from the time of the Romans or even earlier it's a roller coaster of emotions that hardly comes out of there anymore. Animals, people, landscape and buildings will touch your soul in such a special way if you let it happen.
Here, as in southern Spain, there are offices that either look like a palace or are housed in very old town houses that have an indescribable charm.
100 year old houses are there rather the normality, with rustic still original furnishings, doors and windows, furniture that can be admired elsewhere only in the museum, and here the employees engineers and secretaries in the building department serve as a workplace.
Of course and the espresso, the cheese, the pasta, the fish, the horse meat, the chestnuts, all the sweets (dolci) in the pastry shops and coffees, the great red wine and the liqueurs and really the best ice cream I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot of ice cream everywhere I've been).

Oh, why am I telling you this, open up and explore this beautiful island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea by yourselves? Even if you don't have as nice companions as we do. Be open-minded, curious and nice to the local people and they will welcome you with open arms on this island of myths.

Heute im zweiten Teil des Sizilienberichts gibt es noch ein paar Bilder aus Sizilien, ein paar von der schönen bergigen Landschaft, ein paar von unserem Penthouse am Fuß von Nicosia mitten auf der Insel, und ein paar von den Arbeitseinsätzen mit unseren sizilianischen Kollegen sowie einem unserer Auftraggeber.

Ja das war eine wirklich schöne Zeit die ich dort jedesmal auf der Insel hatte, weit weg vom Trubel und der Hektik der Großstadt in Deutschland oder Spanien extrem entspannt (muy andaluz) im angenehmen Mittelmeerklima. Bei Leuten die entweder gar nicht mit einem kommunizieren wollten oder aber einen gar nicht mehr gehen lassen wollten. Nein nicht was ihr jetzt wieder denkt, keine Entführung, kein Lösegeld, einfach unterhalten über dies und das ganz entspannt.
Auf der Insel gibt es jede Menge Esel (4-Beinige) und mindestens ebenso viele Pferde. In jeder größeren Stadt Denkmäler und Bauten aus der Zeit der Römer oder noch früher es ist ein Wechselbad der Gefühle aus dem da kaum noch heraus kommt Tiere, Menschen, Landschaft und Gebäude alles nimmt einen so ein wenn man sich darauf einlässt.
Hier gibt es wie in Südspanien Amtsstuben die entweder wie ein Palast aussehen oder aber in ganz alten Stadthäusern untergebracht sind die einen unbeschreiblichen Charme haben.
100 Jahre alte Häuser sind dort eher die Normalität, mit urigen noch originalen Einrichtungen, Türen und Fenstern, Möbeln die woanders nur im Museum zu bestaunen sind, und hier den Angestellten Ingenieuren und Sekretärinnen im Bauamt als Arbeitsplatz dienen.
Na klar und der Espresso, der Käse, die Pasta, der Fisch, das Pferdefleisch, die Kastanien, die ganzen Süßigkeiten (dolci) in den Konditoreien und Kaffees, der tolle Rotwein und die Liköre und wirklich das beste Eis das ich jemals gegessen habe (und ich habe viel Eis gegessen überall wo ich war).
Ach was warum erzähle ich euch das eigentlich, macht euch auf und erkundet diese traumhafte Insel mitten im Mittelmeer einfach selbst, auch wenn ihr nicht so nette Begleiter habt wie wir seid aufgeschlossen, neugierig und nett zu den einheimischen und man wird euch mit offenen Armen empfangen auf dieser Insel der Mythen.

Hoy en día en la segunda parte del Informe de Sicilia todavía hay algunas fotos de Sicilia, algunos de los bellos paisajes montañosos, algunos de nuestros áticos al pie de Nicosia en el centro de la isla, y algunas de las asignaciones de trabajo con nuestros colegas sicilianos, así como uno de nuestros clientes.

Sí, fue un momento muy agradable el que pasé allí cada vez que estuve en la isla, lejos del ruido y el bullicio de la gran ciudad de Alemania o España, extremadamente relajado (muy andaluz) en el agradable clima mediterráneo. Para personas que no querían comunicarse contigo o que no querían dejarte ir. No, no lo que piensas ahora otra vez, no hay secuestro, no hay rescate, solamente hablar de esto y lo otro relajado.

En la isla hay muchos burros (los con 4 patas) y al menos la misma cantidad de caballos. En todas las grandes ciudades, monumentos y edificios de la época de los romanos o incluso antes, es una montaña rusa de emociones que ya casi no sale de allí. Animales, personas, paisajes y edificios te acogen cuando te involucras.

Aquí, como en el sur de España, hay oficinas que parecen un palacio o están alojadas en casas urbanas muy antiguas que tienen un encanto indescriptible.
Casas de 100 años de antigüedad están allí más bien la normalidad, con mobiliario rústico todavía original, puertas y ventanas, muebles que se pueden admirar en cualquier otro lugar sólo en el museo, y aquí los empleados ingenieros y secretarias en el departamento de construcción sirven como un lugar de trabajo.
Por supuesto, no hay que olvidar el espresso, el queso, la pasta, el pescado, la carne de caballo, las castañas, todos los dulces (dolci) en las pastelerías y los cafés, el gran vino tinto y los licores y, de verdad, el mejor helado que he comido nunca (y he comido muchos helados en todos los lugares en los que he estado).

¿Por qué te estoy contando esto? Ábrete y explora esta hermosa isla en medio del Mar Mediterráneo por ti mismo. Aunque no tengas tan buenos compañeros como nosotros. Sea abierto de mente, curioso y amable con la gente local y le darán la bienvenida con los brazos abiertos en esta isla de mitos.

...so and now to say goodbye once again the view from the terrace of our penthouse overlooking the small town of Nicosia which is built around half the mountain. A lovely city where I was allowed to spend a lot of time. On the beautiful piazza we had many appointments in the cafes outside.

...so und jetzt zum Abschied noch einmal der Blick von der Terrasse unseres Penthouses mit Blick auf die Kleinstadt Nicosia die um den halben Berg herum gebaut ist. Eine liebenswerte Stadt in der ich viel Zeit verbringen durfte mit einer wunderschönen Piazza auf welcher wir viele Termine in den Kaffees im Freien wahrgenommen haben.

...así que y ahora para despedirnos una vez más de la vista desde la terraza de nuestro ático con vistas a la pequeña ciudad de Nicosia que está construida alrededor de la mitad de la montaña. Una ciudad encantadora donde se me permitió pasar mucho tiempo con una hermosa plaza donde teníamos muchas citas en los cafés de afuera.
