Serendipity 3 Ice Cream Shop
Hey there! So, this is me standing out in front of Serendipity 3 waiting for my friend, and she took this shot of me in the rain. This is New York City life.
The Serendipity Ice Cream Shop was opened in 1954 and is a must see when visiting New York City. Homemade recipes and eclectic furniture, you can even find vintage style clothing and art. Visited by celebrities, locals, and tourists this is the only place in New York City I truly enjoyed having ice cream.
This part of the menu is just for the desserts, there is an additional menu for serious food. After you see the photos of the portion size, you will know why most of us just go for the ice cream.
The above photo is just a regular three scoop sundae, with no bells and whistles, and it is to die for.
Of course, I had to get a photo for you with me sticking my face in the ice cream, and enjoying every minute of it. Jealous yet?
My friend got this one since she liked strawberries, its the strawberry with cheese cake. She ate it all too, I couldn't believe it considering she is about five feet tall and 110 pounds.
So, if you are ever in New York City and craving ice cream you know where to go. Just tell them Eagle Spirit sent you. Oh wait, it is New York City after all they never remember anyone but celebrities. Make sure to get there early since there is usually a line out the door and the line can get to around the corner. Peace.
