7 Monate Spenden sammeln-Ein Erfahrungsbericht:
Es gab Menschen,die uns auf die Schultern klopften,uns erzählten,wie toll sie das alles finden....allerdings keinen einzigen Euro übrig hatten.....;
es gab Menschen,die plötzlich keine Zeit mehr hatten und schnell weg mußten.....;
es gab Menschen,die nicht nachfragten......;
es gab Menschen,die Kritik übten (es gibt genug Armut in Deutschland/ nach Afrika geht schon genug Geld)....;

Looking through old photos and "stories" I found something that I would like to add to the 8th part.
I wrote this text in September 2017:

7 months collecting donations-A review:
In February, Michael and I came up with the idea to start this donation campaign. The people in Uganda have so little and we so much. It is often not about life, but about survival.
Above all, I was full of optimism and thought that it is no problem at least in our closest circle (family, friends, acquaintances) to raise money and that everyone likes to support us. It was a little different.
Of course, there were generous people who thought it was great and helped us out right away, and in some cases still do so today.
Without them, it would not have been possible to do so much.
There were people who did not have much themselves (Hartz4, single mothers, unemployed, low paid ....) and they were often so generous. Sometimes I would not have liked the money at all, because I knew it was not really there ... People always say: "the poorest give the most" and unfortunately I can only confirm that. That has often touched us a lot.
(Some do not donate, because we are not a club and therefore the donation can not be deducted tax ...)
There were people knocking on our shoulders, telling us how awesome they found it all .... but not having a single euro left .....;
there were people who suddenly had no more time and had to leave quickly .....;
there were people who did not ask ......;
there were people who criticized (there is enough poverty in Germany / enough money goes to Africa) ....;
but
There were also the people we first met, who encouraged us, who trusted us and gave us their donation.
Many great encounters with great-hearted people. Again and again I have to think of one or the other.
We have done so far:
13 beds, 1 house and 3 solar panels!
We thank you all for your big heart, for your trust, for your support, for your humanity.
You give hope to the people of Uganda and that is something very big!
