SPAIN IN THE RED AGAIN | COVID19 WAVE 2 & LOCK-DOWNS...

July 2020 · 2 min read · Spain

I have been taking some personal time to live life a little. With everything that's going on with the world right now, I feel we need to find a balance so we can stay sane. Otherwise, things might get out of control very fast if we don't.

One of the ways I am spending my personal time is being out and about exploring what Madrid has to offer. Despite what might be the hugest heat wave I have ever experienced in my life so far, I must admit summer is kind of great. I only wish I had to experience it under normal conditions, but this are the times we are living in now.

Talking of heat...

The numbers of covid cases being recorded in Spain is going up. In fact, it has been marked red (hot spot) by a number of european countries over the last weekend. This has mostly been attributed to the night life by the young people, which is sparking more talks of whether te country should go back in to lock-down. A few cities like Barcelona are already implementing lock-down protocols in a bid to curb the spread. There's also rumors of 2nd wave of covid19, which might see the entire country lock-down. How unfortunate that would be.

Personally taking this time to enjoy as much of the outdoors as I possibly can, just in-case we get back into quarantine.

I am also mostly going to less crowded areas, airy areas like parks etc that allow for proper social distancing.
