**Sajek Valley** is one of the most beautiful and famous tourist places in Bangladesh. Its sorrunded by natural beauty and beauty. At a time, you can see a lot of things like hills, indigenous people, ethnic minor groups life, cloud under you and much more. Everyday about 1000+ local tourist visit there and there are foreign tourist as well. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, you can find 5000+ tourist there as weekend and holidays. It attracts people with its natural beauty. That’s why people like to ge over there again and again. This is my third travel there. A lot of tourist gathers there from different areas of Bangladesh regularly.

It is situated at Ruilui Para, Sajek Valley, Masalong, Rangamati, Chittagong Division(Currently Chattogram), Bangladesh. Although it is located in Rangamati District but tourists need to travel through Khagrachari District due to unavailability of proper road through the Hilly areas. Its very much high above the sea level and above the cloud as well.

## Available ways to Travel:

Its location is at Ruilui Para, Masalong, Rangamati, Chittagong Division, Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a South Asian Country. **Dhaka** is the capital of Bangladesh. **Chittagong** is second largest city in Bangladesh and 200 km far away from capital Dhaka. You can travel from Dhaka or Chittagong. There are available buses there to travel from Dhaka to Khagrachari or Chittagong to Khagrachari. Then you need to pick up Jeep {Called **Chander Gari**(The car of moon)} cause in the hilly road there are lots of ups and downs with difficult turning. So almost all tourist pick jeep for the rest 35 km of extreme hilly roads. There are available Jeeps there all the time. You can arrange one after going to the Khagrachari District city. Chittagong has an International Airport. From abroad you can land in **Chittagong (Present name is Chattogram)** through direct flight or can land to Dhaka then Dhaka to Chittagong by Bus or Train or Local Flights as well. But Dhaka to Khagrachari will be more comfortable. There are three hilly district in Chittagong and Khagrachari and Rangamati are two of them. Another one is Bandarbon. All three hilly districts are full of natural beauty and attracts tourist from home and abroad.

## Hotel, Food and Guide Facilities:

This place is popular among all classes of people in Bangladesh to travel because there are wide range of hotel and restaurant facilities from cheap to luxurious. Couple of years back there were lack of good quality living or hotels in that remote critical area. But due to high pressure of tourists, now there are huge resorts, cottages and hotels in Sajek Valley. About 4/5 K tourist can stay there. Although the scarcity of water and electricity, Hotels now arranged their own generator and water collection system. So, you will not face any trouble now as least in case of hotels. Government has initiated some projects thus area is superb now. There are military forces and border guards in Sajek Valley which makes safety for the tourist. Now there are some police station around Sajek Valley as well.

Local hotels have minimum comfort and living standard. But large, decorated, comfortable and costly hotels are also available here around this nice tourist place. Local traditional foods are available here. Now there are a lot of restaurant here and there nearby by the tourist place. So local dishes are available at wide range of services and cost. You can have taste of those foods which is so much appealing and loving to people here in Bangladesh. You will find huge restaurant there now a days. Couple of years ago, I have visited there. But there were scarcity of hotels and restaurants. Now huge availability of hotels and restaurants. I was surprised with this arrangements withing couple of years.

If you find for guide, you can contact with tourist services in Dhaka and Chittagong. Lots of tours and travels are available there. They provide guide and other facilities at your convenience. But after reaching to the place through help of internet and local asking, you can manage a guide from restaurants and hotels here at cheapest and perfect one.

## About the Place:

Those who are fond of travelling to Nature can find this place awesome. We like to see valleys, hills, clouds, jungle, indigenous people, ethnic minority livings. These all are available here. The Valley is pretty awesome and charming to view. You can see the photographs how much beautiful the valley is. I have not a quality camera. Most of the photos have been captured with my Smartphone HUAWEI Y5II and Sony 16.1 MP Cyber Shot Camera. With this effort you can see the beauty. You can find the natural view of hills, cloud, jungle, falls all together.

It is winter that’s why no cloud in the sky. But very early morning there are some mist looks like cloud above the hills. But in Summer you will touch cloud by your hand. Most of the cloud will be below you. You will see some clouds have been trapped in between two hills. Thus, the beauty in the summer cannot be described. You must go over there in the summer to see this charming looking scenario.

Bangladesh government has completed a project to beautify this nice place. So, after that, now it’s very awesome natural place to travel by tourist. If you have time at your hand you can visit some temple, falls, garden, lake in Khagrachari and Rangamati Districts. It will be a nice tour for you along with other nearby natural beautiful places. Travelling is very enjoyable. I like to travel even I think most of us are so. If you like so, don't miss the opportunity to see the valley, ethnic minority of hills, their cultures and opportunity of touching cloud.

#### Tour Summary:

I visited this natural beautiful place with some of my colleagues. It was official tour from Textile Engineering College, Zorargonj, Chittagong. I started at 05:30 am on 16th January, 2020 from our campus by a mini bus. Then reached khagrachari at 10:00 am. Took our breakfast and pick a jeep. There we had to follow the squad by Army. Because of risky and people less area, any tourist have to go there by squad by Bangladesh Army. There are two timings 10:30 am and 03:00 pm from both ways. So, we picked the first squad luckily.

After reaching, fresh at hotel then lunch with special menus of there. Then went out for visit. Travelled several hills, and see sunset from hills. In the evening sing song, all together for about two hours. Then after dinner with bamboo chicken, we had a raffle draw program. It was enjoyable. I got a water pot (unfortunately). And then sleep at midnight after gossip with the sharp wind coming from the other hills.

On the next day, travelled here and there and did some sopping and photographs. Watched the sunrise as well. On 10:30 am squad we get back to Khagrachari. And then after lunch in a local favorite and famous restaurant named **System Restaurant**, travelled some tourist places like Alutila, Horticulture Park, Tareng etc in Khagrachari. We started at 06:30 pm from Khagrachari and reached by 10:00 pm. Its all about two days travel. It was very enjoyable travel to a tourist place with close mates. It was a memorable day and experience for all of us. After joining as a lecturer its my first tour with colleagues. It was very nice feeling and enjoyment. It was a nice experience along with gossip, singing, photography, walking through the hills, playing cards to night etc. Huge enjoyment. moments.

Previously i visited this place as I mentioned in couple of years ago. But this one was so fantastic. I shall remember this visit in my life. It was very nice feeling in taking several foods from local restaurants with local menus.
