Life over the river - 4

In every city through which the river flows, there are places for swimming. In Veliky Ustyug there are many such places on the Sukhona River. There is an official beach, which unfortunately not everyone is comfortable with, so people are looking for alternative places for swimming. One of these places is the opposite bank of the river, where a sand bank is formed. This place is called "Ivashevo Sands" or "Ivashevo beach". The name comes from the nearby village of Ivashevo.

To swim there is really good: the current is not so strong, the depth does not appear immediately.
And most importantly - it's clean sand, almost without stones.

In hot weather, many people come here to swim, even in the late evening.

Even bathers can enjoy the views that open from the opposite shore to the embankment of Veliky Ustyug.

Almost all churches are visible! You can swim and explore the architecture of the city at the same time!

Like in other places on the river, whole families come here, even with small children.

And someone and with tents for the night remains.

The Church of Simeon the Stylite is the most distant church in the city.

The opposite "city" shore is simply strewn with resting locals.

The river draws to itself, around it is the life!

Very soon, when the hot days are gone, only the fishermen will remain on the river. Although, in the city line, lovers to rest nearby the river will be sit.
