Myakolitsa. Panoramas

Most recently, I posted about amazing place - Myakolitsa geological outcrop. It is located on the Sukhona River, where sand lenses are exposed among the rocks of the Permian period from a rocky shore more than 70 meters high.

The height of the coast is so big that a 17 mm wide-angle lens is not enough. So I took a few panoramic photos to capture the whole scene.

It would be ideal to make a panorama of water, but to go alone into the river with a rocky bottom to the waist and deeper is scary.

When you know all the places on the Sukhona River, where there are rocky, steep, puffy banks, it turns out that there are not so many of them.

Ravine formed by the stream. Now the stream is dry and may flow only during the melting of the snow or after heavy rains.

The strangest and most unusual place with bizarre forms is where the sands themselves are exposed. Bulk rock is most affected by the atmosphere and gravity.

The sand here, though compressed, is easily crumbling, you just have to poke a finger. Because of this, it is very dangerous to climb to the sandstone, because there are already broken blocks at the bottom.

I often like to visit the steep banks on the Sukhona River, and now another place has appeared for me where I will often go! Moreover, it will still be necessary to go to the confluence of the Myakolitsa River in the Sukhona.

All panoramas consist of two or three vertical shots in one row by 17 mm.
