Spaso-Prilutsky Monastery is located in the microdistrict of Priluki in the city of Vologda of Russia. In size it is slightly smaller than the huge Kirillo-Belozersky, but it still has an impressive look! This monastery stands on the banks of the Vologda River in the place where the railway passes. I hope that the vibrations from passing multi-ton carriages do not destroy the walls of the monastery.
Having been living in Vologda for a long time, I only just for the first time decided to get to this beautiful ancient and cozy place. I would be here before in 2015.
As often happens, I had another chase after the rays of the departing sun! I was in a hurry to capture the last yellow-red rays of the heavenly luminary.
Upon arrival at the place, I had to work expeditiously, but I managed to do everything I wanted.
The photographer’s work often comes down to obtaining one single photograph from the entire series, the one that is even could take on the cover of a magazine, at least in a newspaper, even in a book. I took such a photo and she heads this post at the very beginning!
But the cover is one thing. If a photo story is published, then without the accompanying photos must be present. They are not so strong, but they reveal the whole essence.

The sun went over the horizon very quickly and cool twilight came. I would even call them frosty!
On the opposite side of the sunset, the sky always contrasts with objects.
And twilight silhouettes can emphasize the grace of architectural elements.
I really liked it here, so that very evening, after complete darkness, I arrived to take pictures of the nightly Spaso-Prilutsky monastery already.
