This is the first time we both went back to Ohio to visit family since the beginning of the pandemic. It has been way too long since I last seen everyone and it was interesting to see how much Springfield, Ohio has changed in over 2 years.
The most notable change is the city's attempt the bring life back to the city center. We love the local brewery called Mother Stewart's which has been around for a few years but the new The Market - COhatch is such a great addition to the downtown and they make great usage of the historical Myer’s Market building. It holds now a co-working and event space and several food stands with seating in and outside.
Can't wait to see what surprise Springfield has for us when we visit next time.
