A few days ago I posted a video walking through the white town of Altea, this was our first time leaving Valencia after the hard lockdown in 2020. We spent 5 days in Altea but then drove for a weekend up into the mountains of Alicante.
We rented an apartment in Benimantell and made it our base. From there we explored the Guadalest Reservoir and the nearby castle of Guadalest which seems to be coming straight out of a fairytale.
We had such a wonderful time during that week and shortly after we went back into the same area. But that's for another upcoming video. So please stay tuned.
