What we really love about Valencia is, that the city is surrounded by beautiful nature and it's accessible with public transportation. We started our journey on a Sunday morning from the Estación del Norte in the center of Valencia, and took our bikes onboard on one of the commuter rails, the Cercanías.
After a short while we arrived in Alzira and paddled towards the La Murta i la Casella. An old castle situated right in front cloud covered mountains. Sadly the castle is all ruins these days but we do love abandoned places. Another thing we loved was the pool right next to it the castle, which was filled by these old water ways.
