My trip to Portugal. Part 1: Lisbon.

November 2018 · 2 min read

The time has come to start sharing some pictures from my trip to Portugal (as I promised) and Lisbon was the first stop of my wonderful journey!

I stayed just a couple of days, a very brief visit for a city so big and so interesting, but it was enough to capture the vibe, the scent and the feeling of this monumental scenery as well as a few hundreds shots!

I was lucky enough to spent my two nights in Lisbon at Alfama, the oldest district of the city, only a few steps away of the medieval Castle of São Jorge. The first walk was more than obvious, up to the castle and one of the best view points of the city!

The weather was constantly changing from clear to cloudy and from cloudy to rainy within minutes but it didn't spoil our good mood. It was just a good excuse for a few more stops at a cute coffee shop or a cozy tasca restaurant!

Lisbon is so beautiful and walking around is a real pleasure but it can be quite tiring too. Especially since it is built on 7 hills and many of the streets are really steep. So when you get tired jump on tram 28, an attraction by itself. This vintage means of transportation will carry you across the city center for a sightseeing tour with style :)
