Hitchhiking in Dombay. Day 8 by @fourapril

Attention: There are a lot of mistakes in the text, because I do not know English well. I'm sorry =)

This is the most intense day for the whole trip, photos will be very much.
This day began at 6 am, we drank tea, said goodbye to the owner and went to look for a route to Dombay.

Dombay is situated within the Teberda Nature Reserve (zapovednik) and is a popular tourist destination. The area attracts people for its skiing and hiking trails and natural beauty of the Caucasus Mountains. The settlement is located at the elevation of 1,630 meters (5,350 ft) above sea level, with its skiing area occupying the slopes of Mount Mussa Achitara, between 1,800 meters (5,900 ft) and 3,200 meters (10,500 ft) above sea level. Dombay-Ulgen, the highest peak of the Dombay area, is 4,046 meters (13,274 ft). Dombay is surrounded with snow-capped mountains and glaciers all year round.

We went out into the street, but here we have such beauty. Yesterday we arrived at night and could not see the mountains on either side of the village.

A local dog saw us off to the village before the road, at first I thought that she wanted to eat us, but no, she even earns a job as a guide.

On the track, we stopped for 15 seconds, despite the earlier time. Islam (the driver) went to Dombay with his wife, where they work together in a cafe. The next 20 km we were waited by an incredible mix of huge pines and mountains. We landed near Sberbank, we needed a little cash, just in case. And so we in Dombay, where to start? It is logical that with breakfast, decided to go to Islam in a cafe. For 200 rubles, we took khichin (but local write khichin) and 2 cups of coffee. Khychin - a flat cake stuffed with meat, cheese or potatoes, very similar to a closed pizza.

-Islam, can we leave your backpacks until evening?
-Oh sure. Throw in the car, it is open (yesterday we were given the keys to the apartment, so that we ourselves were in charge of it, today this attitude is with the car)
Things are inscribed, go explore the village.
Dombai is located at an altitude of about 1600m, at the confluence of the rivers Alibek and Dombai-Ulgen in Amanauz. A very small village, we went around it almost all in 40 minutes. Hotels, cafes, souvenir shops. The population is about 650 people and they all work in the tourist business.

When we went to the local mini market, we were offered to go up immediately to level 3 (about 2200 m) for 400 rubles per person. The people gathered, we climbed into this caravan and began our ascent. On the road, it turned out that a newer cable car operated in parallel and that this one was not certified. It was a bit scary.

Thank God we got to 2200mand before us an incredible landscape opened, we immediately rushed to hammer in the memory of their phones.

At an altitude of 2200m, I temporarily interrupt the story, because for half a day I'm already suffering with pictures, and the fire under our soup has long since died out. In the next issue, wait: climb to 3200m, super-chair lift, snow and much more o_o

In advance I apologize for the mistakes, it is very unusual to make posts from the phone.
