See The World #18 - Palau de la Música Catalana, Playa de La Barceloneta (Barcelona Tour)

November 2019 · 2 min read · Barcelona

"Palau de la Música Catalana" is also known as a shelter for the Catalan sounds and the place where many people find their soul's peace, which made the building became the most beautiful palace from Barcelona even if it's located in a not so known district but actually a labyrinth of little streets from the old town of the city. Just as it looks outside, the palace full of history hides many treasures and details on the inside as well, making you feel so tiny into a building that has seen plenty of well-known artists but a huge number of participants as well.

"Playa de La Barceloneta" represents the oldest beach of the city which even though is not a natural one but actually a place that has been created in 1992 when there were the Olympic Games, Barceloneta is known as the Nº3 in the world and Nº1 in Spain, most populated beach with tourists from all over the world, not just during the summer but when is winter too. There is a total of 9 beaches in Barcelona, Barceloneta together with Somorrostro and Sant Sebastià being considered the first ones, which later on were completed with 6 more that are popularly known as beaches for either homosexual couples or nudists.

And now this one being the last episode of this series, it really makes me feel a little bit melancholic, but new journeys with amazing discoveries are coming soon! :)

But until then, you can read more about these places down below if you haven't checked the full posts already:
