"Babele & Sfinxul" are some of the most popular touristic attractions from the Bucegi Mountains (Romania), which are hiding lots of interesting stories, more or less close to reality.
"Babele" (2.292m) are four rock formations with shapes of mushrooms and they are worshipping to the Earth, Sky, Sun and Moon.
"Sfinxul" is located on just 5 mins away from the first monuments and it represents the main attraction due to its looking like a sphinx. This one hides lots of legends of how it appeared - when Decebal killed his own son in this place for ritual sacrifice, or that it's even a gift from aliens. From the many stories which are being told, one thing is real for sure - all these monuments are sharing positive energy to those who are getting closer to the rock formations and they are some of the touristic attractions Romania is proud with.
But as words are never enough to express what you feel when you visit a new place, neither the pictures are, a video is always closer to all the emotions are trying you while making your way to some of the best things you could enjoy no matter what the weather or season is.
I also got the opportunity to get some shots from a drone which will show you how tiny you are in front of nature and everything it has to offer.
