Nha Trang, once a resort for the US military, is now more and more well known. Traveling to Vietnam is no longer just Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi, but also central Danang and Nha Trang! On this day, we walked through the big and small scenic spots in the city with our feet.
The most obvious landmark in the city is Nha Trang Cathedral, towering high in the city center! This is a typical Gothic building, all made of stones. The colored skylights in the church are soft under the sunlight, and the walls are covered with the pattern of Christ.
There are not many people in the church at normal times, only at Mass time! Monday to Friday 04:45 and 17:00, Sunday 05:00, 07:00, 09:30, 16:45, 18:30 is the Mass time.
Then we arrived to the Po Nagar Cham Towers, a temple of the ancient Cham Kingdom with a history of 1300 years. Located on Cu Lao Mountain, it has three floors. After more than a thousand years, only 4 towers are left.
To enter the tower, you need to take off your shoes and hats, you can not wear suspenders and shorts, there are robes in the tower for tourists who wear too cool. Because you have to take off your shoes, pay attention to whether you have Hong Kong feet.
Today’s highlight ,also the most anticipated part of my visit to Nha Trang, is take a “mud bath”. Soak yourself in a dirty hot spring and rinse it out after 20 minutes, your skin will become smooth ~

The mud in the mud bath will not be very strong silk, it has a scrub feeling on the face or body, make yourself to be a little mud guy.
There are several famous mud baths in Nha Trang, such as Thap Ba, 100 Egg, I-RESORT. We chose Thap Ba at that time. Because it was closer to the Po Nagar Cham Tower, we walked directly after the visit. Price of the public pool is different from that of the private bath. The public pool is about VND 230’000.
It’s best to bring a bathing suit that you don’t like or plan to throw away to soak in the mud bath, because the mud is hard to clean after bath. You can also buy one on the road. Normally , there are some local stalls selling swimwear at the entrance of the mud bath, and the prices are not expensive.
