A QUICK VISIT AT LINTAON PEAK, BAYBAY CITY, LEYTE, PHILIPPINES

A QUICK VISIT AT LINTAON PEAK, BAYBAY CITY, LEYTE, PHILIPPINES

May 2018 · 2 min read

I have learned from our bosses that doing business should always be BUSINESS WITH PLEASURE!

And so after a long day of work in Baybay City Terminal, doing product demonstration for Pertua products, the most economical engine oil in the country, we paid a visit to the newest attraction in Baybay Leyte's mountain-top garden--16,000 Blossoms.

I have always wondered why they situated this garden in Lintaon Peak. And I learned that this peak is Baybay's highest point. So it may be one reason why this beautiful garden is here, aside from its panoramic scenery.

16,000 Blossoms is a park comprised of red and white roses, forming the phrase "I love Baybay." Yet, aside from the roses, the scenic site in the peak alone plus the mountain breeze is already worth coming!

We have also seen this marvelous afternoon sun's rays, peeking through the clouds, making that part of the ocean glistened like a blanket of diamonds!

I am so glad we came that day. This is our treat to ourselves for our hard work. We didn't wait for the sunset and for the LED bulbs to light up because we need to travel back home and it's more than two hours drive. But maybe, just maybe, in some other time, I can see for myself the remarkable beauty of the 16,000 roses, as it glows under the night sky!!!

So if ever you are in Leyte, make it a point to visit Lintaon Peak and marvel at its beauty.
